I provide regular support to many backyard beekeepers in Sydney. This is sometimes just a couple sessions to teach the basics of a hive inspection. For others it is ongoing with regular visits. New regulations require a hive inspection and alcohol-wash for Varroa mite once in every 16 weeks. The results need to be reported to the NSW DPI. You can arrange for me to do these inspections so you stay in compliance. With Varroa detected in Woy Woy and Unima (March 2023), we need to be especially vigilant.
